Callout Fees and After Hours Premiums

Mechanics doing emergency or after hours work should ALWAYS bill for callout. Standard practice.

Missing license number. Most regions require licensed mechanics to display their license number on invoices. Some insurance companies won't process invoices without it.

No payment terms. If your invoice doesn't say when payment is due, the legal default is "reasonable time" which leaves you chasing for months. Specify 14 or 30 days. How to handle late payments.

Forgetting after hours premiums. You did the job at 9pm Saturday. Charge for it. The customer agreed to those rates when they booked.
